I’m curious to hear from you :). What medium do you feel most confident working in (digital art, oil painting, watercolor, pencil, ink, sculpture, etc.), and what makes it your favorite or strongest medium? Is it because of your experience, the results you achieve, or the creative freedom it gives you?
Any tips you’ve learned along the way?

I’d say my strongest medium is pencil and ink because they let me capture fine detail while still keeping a raw, handmade feel. I love the control they give me over shading and texture, and the imperfections often add character to the piece. Over time I’ve learned that experimenting with different paper types really changes the outcome, so I’d recommend trying that if you haven’t already.

I’d say watercolor it keeps me on my toes since it’s hard to control, but that unpredictability often leads to the most interesting results. How do you all handle the balance between control and spontaneity in your mediums?

I’d go with charcoal it’s raw, messy, and forces me to embrace imperfection. That unpredictability is what makes it powerful. What about you do you prefer mediums that give control or ones that surprise you?
